Act of Remembrance - 10th November

We had a great show of support from the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts tonight, with a very damp visit to the War Memorial. Special thanks to Dafydd for reciting "In Flanders Fields" and to Adam for coming to play the Last Post - very atmospheric indeed. Well done to all who took part for your patience and thoughtfulness in the downpour!

Akela goes to China!

......sadly not on Scout business! However, Zoe will be away from 17th to 27th November. Plans are in place for all meetings to run as normal, with help from other Leaders in the group. The GSL, Alun, will be supervising the Techniquest visit. Please try to avoid texting or calling Zoe while she is away - there is an 8 hour time difference so you might end up calling her in the middle of her night!!!
